Michele Lee Bernstein
Michele Lee Bernstein is a hand knit designer, blogger and tutor based in Portland, Oregon, USA.
She's fond of textures like brioche, lace, entrelac and elongated stitches and loves using them to design accessories, especially if they use one or two skeins of very special yarn.
Michele teaches at local yarn shops, guild meetings and retreats, seeing her classes as an opportunity for her students to become 'the boss of their knitting!' She is also a regular tutor at fibre festivals like Vogue Knitting Live, Red Alder Fiber Arts Festival and the Oregon Flock and Fibre Festival.
In addition to knitting, Michele is an enthusiastic lover of food and music, writing about all three subjects over on her blog. You can find her on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter where she's PDXKnitterati and her patterns are available through both her Ravelry and Payhip pattern stores.
