Nidhi Kansal

In her own words knitwear designer Nidhi Kansal 'belongs to the colourful and bustling city of Mumbai - definitely not prone to sweater weather but, my love for knitting garments grew all the same'.

She took up knitting regularly only after quitting a job 10 years ago and enjoyed making sweaters even though she often found it difficult to get patterns in her size. This led her to modify garments to fit her style and size which, quite naturally led to the first attempts at designing and her first pattern was published in 2014.

Aside from knitting, Nidhi loves to read and has an interest in photography which came about while trying to capture images of her own work for the self published patterns which are available through her Ravelry Pattern Store.
